HOSPITALITY & SALES COORDINATOR
Crow River Winery is hiring a Hospitality and Sales Coordinator. Our ideal candidate is outgoing and personable, always ready to connect with clients, customers, and other staff to support event and product sales goals and to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Job Responsibilities

​Assume responsibility as the leader and point person when other key leadership is not present or on the property.

Support event sales as assigned.

Provide event space tours and event information to clients that showcase CRW.

Be present at events to greet clients and ensure proper event execution.

Take event leads from prospects through proposal stage to booked events.

Connect with designated clients by quickly responding to communications through phone calls, emails, and in person meetings to ensure clear and accurate event details are understood by all parties involved. This includes ensuring that events costs are communicated and invoiced accurately.

Clearly and accurately communicate event details with leadership and CRW staff.

Promptly perform post-event tasks, such as meeting with clients to ensure satisfaction & rebooking, documenting issues and resolutions, and verifying that invoices are paid in full.

Support product sales as assigned

Build and maintain relationships with wholesale customers through consistent communication via email, phone, and in-person visits with wholesale customers/prospects.

Become a product expert and introduce opportunities to retail new and additional CRW products to prospective wholesale customers through product education and samples

Support the execution of wholesale product marketing strategies.

Ensure wholesale customers are invoiced accurately and in a timely manner, monitoring accounts payable/accounts receivable and taking appropriate follow-up steps when payments are past due.

Provide back-up coverage across different CRW departments as necessary to achieve successful day-to-day operations and event execution, especially in the tasting room and bistro kitchen.

Maintain accurate and transparent records of contacts, communications, planning, and/or project commitments in our CRM or other system of record (i.e. in a spreadsheet when work cannot be appropriately captured in our CRM).

Assist with the planning and execution of CRW hosted events, including but not limited to Grape Stomp, Pumpkin Fest, Mother's Day, Bridal Showcase, Apple Fest and offsite events such as tasting and serving events.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of related hospitality, food & beverage, marketing, and/or leadership experience

Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and customer service skills

Leadership presence with desire to encourage and motivate team members

Sales skills preferred, with desire to drive to business objectives and goals

Strong written and oral communication skills
-
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft suite

Strong attention to detail

Genuine passion for delivering a memorable guest experience

Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure

Extremely Organized and Efficient

Flexible in approach, can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes

Required:

At least 21 years of age

Available and willing to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs

Professional appearance and personal demeanor

Some post high school education/training
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Perform work in-person/onsite (Hutchinson, MN 55350) – ability to reliably provide your own transportation and/or planning to relocate before starting work

This position has the potential to be a part-time or full-time, depending on how the right candidate fulfills the job. Compensation is competitive, commensurate with experience.
