Stomping Team Info

Stomping Team Info

Grape Stomper Team tickets are for one team of two people. 

 

Each team should consist of two people:

1 - the stomper, the person stomping the grapes in the barrel

2 -  the mucker, the person clearing the drain to allow the grape juice to flow out 

 

Heat winners are determined by the weight of grape juice that is stomped from the grapes.

The Grand Champion will be determined by team that stomps the most grape juice from the two championship rounds.

 

The winner of each heat will advance to the Grand Champion Stomping Rounds.

Pat Frederick & Rebel Fiddle Acoustic

Pat Frederick is fiddler and founding member of RCA recording artists, the Daisy Dillman Band. He is a MN Music Hall of Fame member, MN Rock & Country Hall of fame member and is
recipient of multiple awards including a Telly Award, National Parents Choice award, ISES award and the MN Music Award for best violinist. With his exciting project Rebel Fiddle Acoustic Pat will be joined by veteran MN ace Scott Malchow, bringing a beautifully curated mix of fiddle and mandolin centric songs from around the world including bluegrass, country, jazz, Gaelic and world traditions. Minneapolis based Small Town Radio (STR) is an acoustic trio playing the songs you want to hear! With a unique mix of cover and original music in the styles of rock, folk, yacht, funk, and blues, they deliver hooky arrangements, strong vocals, and great musical harmony that provides a “just right” touch of color to already classic tunes.

STR consists of current and former members from popular 90’s Midwestern acts such as Dazy Head Mazy, Charlie’s Café, Turtle Purse and Medium.

In addition to serving as WCCO TV's Man About Town, Phil Thompson is an internationally acclaimed pop pianist, vocalist and official Kawai-endorsed touring artist who has toured across the globe performing at venues including both Mandalay Bay and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as well as many of the globe's top sporting events including the US Open Tennis Tournament in New York for 3 years in a row, the Rogers Cup in Toronto, the Shanghai Rolex Masters and China Open, as well as the Wendy's 3 Tour Challenge in Las Vegas.  Phil has also headlined on several specialty-themed cruise events, most recently on the “Wine, Dine & Music Cruise” as spotlighted on USA Today with Kenny Loggins and Three Dog Night and Phil has also served as an opening act for artists including Rod Stewart, David Foster, Brian McKnight, The Canadian Tenors and Clay Aiken to name a few
